Unread count too high
Issue
There's an unread count on the icon for the "home" tab. The number is always too high. If there's only one new toot on a refresh, for example, the count might show four. I can't exactly predict what it'll be, but always higher than the actual number of new toots. (I can tap the home icon to reset it to zero.)
I'm not sure if it's related, but toots I've read continue to show "new" next to the user's profile picture even after they're read, so maybe it's still counting read toots as new? I don't think so, because if I reset the count to zero, the old toots still show as new, and the next refresh still shows too high of a count.
Similarly, if I don't tap the home icon to reset the count, it will just keep climbing on refresh, not subtracting any toots I've read.
Steps for reproducing the issue
Every refresh that Fedilab initiates causes this issue. (I haven't figured out how to disable automatic refresh of the timeline without losing notifications, but I don't know why manual refreshes would be any different.)
