R kernel doesn't show certain outputs
When you run code through the R kernel, some outputs don't show up.
In particular, those where you ask specifically for a print
, do work (showing an auxiliary [1]
on the side), but if you try, for instance \eval{1+1}
you get nothing.
My guess is that this kernel can return two kinds of outputs: one with a data
field (and usually, several text/html
, text/latex
, text/markdown
and text/plain
fields inside it), and another with no data
field, but a text
field.
We should be more careful when parsing the kernel answer.
