Classification context with 1 tile : relavant to disable the temporal interpolation ?
Good afternoon, My classification context:
- 7 sentinel 2 images for the year 2023.
- Only one sentinel2 tile.
- No "region" specified.
- Classif with random forest.
Can you confirm to me that in thix classification context, it is relevantand recommended to disable the default parameter which temporally interpolates the spectral values and spectral indices (gapfilling)? I understand the need to interpolate temporally when we have several tiles. But in my case, I don't see the necessity or the usefulness. Does it better to only rely on the reflectance values/spectral indices of the input data, sn' it ? Because if I understood correctly, when we define a temporal interpolation, the tool does not take into account the reflectance values of the input data (except perhaps for the start date), even when the pixels are valid (not clouds). In advance, thanks so much. Regards.
