In preprocessing S2 data : ability to construct a stack without all bands ?
Hi,
The purpose of my question is how to save disk space with S2 image extraction. I use an external feature script.
For one tile I have 100 dates. A zip file is in most of the cases 2.2Go (smallest one is 14,1Mo) --> total : 156Go
After unzip it becomes a 3,6Go directory (even the smallest zip files becomes 3,6Go directories) --> 360Go more
Iota2 compute a stack for each date with all bands, so a 0,6Go or 2,4Go files (if 20m or 10 spatial resolution) --> 60Go or 240Go more
A need at least of ~750Go (for 10m spatial resolution). I have no more free memory disk for another tile! I've tried to unzip only bands I need for radiometric indices I want, but Iota2 gives an error list index out of range
because all bands are required...
--> Is it possible to preprocess the S2 with only require bands by radiometric indices I use in my external feature script, in order to free memory disk ?
--> Or another solution ?
(I know another solution is to buy a new disk storage.)
Thanks a lot
