OTB version in the install scripts
The automatic installation scripts build OTB from sources by cloning the git repository. iota2 often needs a recent version of OTB, usually the develop branch. However, cloning a branch which is in constant evolution may cause unexpected behaviours or errors.
The installation scripts should therefore checkout a specific changeset from OTB's develop branch which contains all needed features and which has been tested with iota2. If the last stable release of OTB is enough for iota2 it should be used.
In a nutshell:
- Update the installation scripts to use the latest stable OTB after each OTB release
- If a new OTB feature is needed, update the installation scripts to use a particular changeset and not the HEAD of develop
