davclient/client.js fails on IDN domain
Created by: Ascendor
Hey dear owncloud calendar developers. The in-browser calendar fails when using an IDN domain, so a domain with special chars. That is pretty clearly down to a regular expression in the JS client only allowing certain standard characters. Here's the report: (I've left out irrelevant information about the server, this is clearly a client issue)
Steps to reproduce
- Use an international domain name, like müller.de (not my domain.)
- Call the browser davclient, e.g. https://müller.de/apps/calendar/
Expected behaviour
Calendar(s) should load
Actual behaviour
- Calendar stays empty.
- JS error appears: TypeError: parts is null client.js:366:14 Obviously, the url matching a line higher doesn't allow for special characters which IDN domains contain.
