Date issue with non-french setting
Hallo
I just found framadate on my long search as an open source Moodle replacement, which is great! Thanks! I installed it then on my Ubuntu 18.04 Server (with Apache 2.4 and PHP 8.0) along the Installation guide with the repo:
git clone https://framagit.org/framasoft/framadate/framadate.git/
and made it start, could configure it, also email. Because I am german, I switched to german in the main language setting drop-down.
Now I created a poll with just one date (without a time) and after step 2 when going to step 3 I get the error:
[10-Sep-2023 14:16:22 Europe/Berlin] PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to a member function setTime() on bool in /path/to/framadate/app/classes/Framadate/Services/InputService.php:163
Stack trace:
#0 /path/to/framadate/adminstuds.php(146): Framadate\Services\InputService->parseDate()
#1 {main}
thrown in /path/to/framadate/app/classes/Framadate/Services/InputService.php on line 163
When I switch to french in language Drop-Down, I have no problems. But neither it works in english, same error with parseDate()
I guess this is related with (new, unfixed) issue 609 here. And it was already years ago an issue: Date error by different languages but it seemed fixed at that time, the code has changed there, I saw.
I wonder why it is working on the main framadate german website, obviously the git code I cloned is old
Is there maybe a branch I could use, where this error is fixed? Did maybe the main framadate code became closed source?
Thanks. frank
