Using wacosc without sound
Hi! I found your project trying to figure out how to get wacom pressure and tilt into my own programs.
The name "wacosc" sounded like converting wacom data into osc, but I get the impression there are audio plugins and Carla involved.
I have two questions:
- When running your program, are tablet events detected independently of what is displayed on the computer screen? (so I could run Gimp for example, and still convert tablet data into OSC)
- What would be simplest approach for me to get pressure and tilt into my own program? I am using OPENRNDR and writing code in Kotlin. I am familiar with openFrameworks (C++), if that helps. On Arch or Ubuntu.
It would be amazing if one could run wacosc and just configure in one file to which IP to send OSC messages, then I could interpret those messages and convert them into 2D or 3D graphics :) (I don't do sound lately).
Thank you and sorry for using Issues as a forum :-)
