Moving tabs using ctrl-shift-pageup/down results in glitchy animation
I routinely use ctrl-shift-pageup/down to move tabs, and noticed the animation looks glitchy.
Video recorded using YUV444 (does not play in Firefox or Windows Media Player, try VLC or mpv). Using mpv, you can frame-step through the video recording using ,
and .
. VLC is worse at frame-stepping, can only frame-step forwards using e
, and often results in video corruption or aborts playback.
Unfortunately it's only recorded at 30fps, and ShareX drops frames when I try to record at 60.

If you frame-step through the pinned-tab movement animation, the moved tab first becomes narrower (left/right disappear first), then it starts appearing at the new location (center first) and becoming wider. All subsequent tabs move towards the left, before returning to their proper position.
If you frame-step through the unpinned-tab movement animation, the moved tab first becomes less tall (top/bottom disappear first), then it starts appearing at the new location (center first) and becoming taller. All subsequent tabs move towards the top, before returning to their proper position.
The same issue (tabs move up temporarily, and back down) appears when compact mode is disabled.
I also have a "Wrong favicon on pinned tabs, wrong title after unpinning" issue, but no detailed bug report yet. Should I just post an empty issue, or make a writeup first?
