Packaging with Nix
Hello, this is a sanity check just to make sure I haven't missed anything.
I'm looking into packing meta-press-ext for the Nix "meta" build system (meta meta!), as a packager, in the scope of the Summer of Nix project, which is funded by an EU grant connected to NGI Zero and NLNet. We are packaging software funded by and tightly related to NGI Zero projects.
We intend to make packages available via Nix build expressions both independently of, and on the NixPkgs repository (once, and if, they are in a state that can be upstreamed). NixPkgs provides packages for any system running the Nix package manager, and NixOS is a Linux distribution build on the NixPkgs/Nix system. More information on these systems can be found on the NixOS website at https://nixos.org/explore.html and https://nixos.org/guides/how-nix-works.html, or by talking to me.
However it seems that as this is a Firefox extension everything happens inside the the browser and it has no outside dependencies. Is this correct?
If so there is not much for me to do here so thanks for your reading and good work on this great project :)
