pandoc-markdown footnotes are mangled
Here's a minimal input with a footnote in markdown aa/a.html
<article title="Test title">
<markdown command="pandoc" args="-f markdown -t html">
test[^ft]
[^ft]: bar
</markdown>
</article>
For some reason the footnote section gets compiled to
<div class="section"><div aria-level="1" class="section-title" id="7df6-dda1-73e1-671a" role="heading">1. </div>
<hr/>
<ol>
<li id="fn1"><p>bar<a class="footnote-back" href="#fnref1">↩</a></p></li>
</ol>
</div>
Note the nonsensical 1.
heading.
It seems the footnote feature of pandoc-flavored markdown generates a section
tag (below) which conflicts with stog
reserving the section
tag for some purpose.
<p>test<a href="#fn1" class="footnote-ref" id="fnref1">1</a></p>
<section class="footnotes">
<hr />
<ol>
<li id="fn1"><p>bar<a href="#fnref1" class="footnote-back">↩</a></p></li>
</ol>
</section>
