Fix issue #45
Julien Lepiller (76c04367) at 06 Mar 17:33
Fix TypeError (unexpected type float) with Python>3.10
From QTextCursor::insertText(...)
for (int i = 0; i < text.length(); ++i) {
QChar ch = text.at(i);
const int blockEnd = i;
if (ch == QLatin1Char('\r')
&& (i + 1) < text.length()
&& text.at(i + 1) == QLatin1Char('\n')) {
++i;
ch = text.at(i);
}
if (ch == QLatin1Char('\n')
|| ch == QChar::ParagraphSeparator
|| ch == QTextBeginningOfFrame
|| ch == QTextEndOfFrame
|| ch == QLatin1Char('\r')) {
It looks like \r will also transform to \u2029 when it passes through a QTextField
Example of an affected string:
msgid ""
"\n"
" --substitute-urls=URLS\n"
" fetch substitute from URLS if they are authorized"
When the string is loaded in Offlate the newlines "\n" are not shown in the edit field. But if, while editing, you delete the newline and press Enter again, it will be replaced with unicode character U+2029 in the saved .po file.

Thank you!
When attempting to build offlate in Guix master, we see:
AttributeError: module 'pygit2.remote' has no attribute 'RemoteCallbacks'
during the sanity-check phase.
I suspect this occurred following the bump to pygit2 1.9.1 in d3553810627ebb8019e383acbc6a2daae01dfadf.
