use weblate for translations
Crowdin witch is as of writing used by this project for translations is (to my understanding) a closed platform.
Crowdin could (theoretically) change it's pricing plans at any time go bankrupt or quit their service for any other reason.
It's rather hard for myself to understand why many open source projects (say e.g. nextcloud) still rely on Crowdin instead of a open alternative such as Weblate. The latter integrates into the git workflow as a contributor, eases possible future migrations between services providers (hosts) and increases the general transparency while being completely free (hosting only for open source projects).
There's the 'official' instance at hosted.weblate.org (used by F-Droid, OsmAnd, OpenWrt, Matomo and Godot just to name a few of the biggest open source projects) and many independent instances all over the internet.
A part of the (German) F-Droid community uses weblate.bubu1.eu translate.codeberg.org witch is provided by Marcus Hoffmann (@bubu) Codeberg e.V (a German non-profit).
I'd like to highlight that these are just my personal opinions not meant to be offensive to anyone at any time.
