Hard to read captions with the light pre-installed theme

Describe the improvement

In the Fedilab app obtained from F-Droid, version 2.35.0, it is hard to read captions when the light pre-installed theme is used. See the attached screenshot.

I would expect the color of captions to be suitable for the light theme. Instead, I guess, the color is the same as in the dark theme. However, after enabling the "Use a custom theme" radio button and restoring options, the user interface seems to have restarted and captions are now in black instead of light gray, which makes it very usable; I am not sure how this happened.

Nevertheless, plain switching from the pre-installed dark theme to the light theme provides captions in light gray color, which is hard to read with a white background.
