Crash due to file permissions problem
A java.io.IOException: No permission to overwrite the already existing file can occur during the saving procedure when the destination file already exists. This causes the program to close and without saving any result. This can cause frustration if the user took time to adjust parameters to eventually realise that all needs to be done again.
Solution:
- Check if the file exists before running the pipeline
- If the file exists -> popup a dialog asking if overwrite should be authorised or if the current image should be skipped.
- Catch the IOException and popup a retry or skip dialog.
