Adopt a Code of Conduct
We've had recent discussions on the Pepper&Carrot IRC channel about adopting a Code of Conduct. There have been some concerns that as our project grows in scale and scope that we need to have a playbook of acceptable and unacceptable behavior.
This ticket is to open up the discussion about which code of conduct to adopt. Some may argue that we don't need one, but I think in more pragmatic terms that we should have one in place. This is more of a preventative measure (eg: you keep insurance not because you hope to use it because you hope not to need it).
This isn't about finger-pointing or blaming others for the past, but about how we can work together as a community.
I hope that we can have good discussion about this, and I trust that we can keep this civil and lively.
