Translating Pepper & Carrot into Esperanto
Hello everyone!
My nickname is ‘Tirifto’ and I would to work on the translation of Pepper & Carrot into the international language Esperanto (eo), following these instructions. Before translating new episodes, I would like to review the existing translations in order to correct any errors in grammar or vocabulary¹, and to update and standardise the punctuation.
I have already engaged with the local Esperanto team in the past, on topics like quotation marks or vocabulary choices, but unfortunately got distracted from actually submitting any changes to the comics themselves. (But I think I may have cloned the wrong repository, anyway… my understanding is that I should work with this one.)
Should my background be of interest, Esperanto has been my hobby for the last four years or so. Over that time I came to understand the language and some of its inner workings pretty well. I have also been involved in some libre software projects as a translator. I’ll hope to be of help!
