Sanify SVG relative link before rendering them · 190da2ae
      David Revoy authored
The previous system was broken; this one is an attempt at doing
the check directly inside the rendering routine and before handling
new SVGs. This check might return better feedback to fix it later
but might also hang any Git for untracked changes.

      TODO:

Sanify only the cache and return a warning to fix them later?
      I'll see.

      [low-res] Re-render all 1280px and set new standard · beab4789
      David Revoy authored
      Webcomics as default are now:
      * 1280px large quality 89% without sharpening
      (instead of)
      * 992px large quality 92% with sharpening

This larger version has better immersion while reading. Also,
imagemagick palette optimisation (under 90% quality) works better
than five years ago when I first set 92% as a standard. Imagemagick
also now reduce with lanczos filter (no more bicubic everywhere by
default?) This improve the sharpening of the picture without having
to sharpen manually with a filter the render.

All in all, this optimisation has no cost on file weight; but 9198
files had to be rendered again (thanks a script in svg-filewalker).

The re-render is safe: it took the hi-res already rendered version
for a starting point. So, Inkscape wasn't called and that mean the
render is 'as it was' for all langs.

Add new chapters: Mission and Specifications for contributors. · e30b3450
      David Revoy authored
A work in progress that attempt to explain the limitation of the tool
repository. It is based on a text I had before, and I need to update
a couple of point about it.

      TO-DO:
      - Update maybe about Python spec on the 'tools'.
      - Look if 'jo' for Bash is still a good option, eventually rewrite
        existing script with that.
      - Review the 'tool' repo to make it comform to this spec, or to
        upgrade the spec.

      Fix a security breach on test.peppercarrot.com · 43b449bf
      David Revoy authored
The test website still used admin/password as the default install
of the Git repository fake database provided with the website.
It was possible to login in test.peppercarrot.com and use the
built-in theme editor or media uploader to inject files or code on
the same host than Pepper&Carrot and then take control of the
machine. I'm happy I saw it before someone else.

Fix: keep a user.xml with a new admin/pass; not in the repo, and
substitute it before uploading the local file to the remote.

      It protects the remote.

[menu] Simplify the GUI and interaction · 2c7dbaa6
      David Revoy authored
Now 'menu' is a single level dialog that disapear after selecting
a task. Edit all README was removed, now I better use a terminal,
      'find', 'grep' and 'sed'.

The menu is still helpfull to quickly call the render of a specific
episode, or to launch a rendering of all, or upload job before
      closing the PC.

Add EditorConfig that matches current contents · 7b54f842
      Midgard authored
All files seem to use spaces, and in my sample they had 4 spaces, so set
up EditorConfig like this. This makes sure that people with an editor
that understands it follow this style.
