      Change notation for speed of sound (a → c) · 2375e9a1
      Olivier authored
Noting the speed of sound as "a" was a source of confusion because
of the area A and the Mach number [Ma] (sometimes also written M
in literature, to make things worse). It is now noted c.

I did my best with this transition, but there may be "a" symbols
left over in the text, which I will fix as they are found during
      the semester.

      Chapter 9: changes notation of Mach number (M → [Ma]) · 161155f6
      Olivier authored
This is a step towards making the notes more globally coherent, and
to improve the relevance and role of chapter 6 on scales in fluid
flow. Flow properties are italic, but non-dimensional parameters
are now all upright and contained within brackets.

Chapter 1: better introduction to pressure and shear + proofreading · fd861ad7
      Olivier authored
      * The concepts of pressure and shear are introduced with their
/effect/ instead of an (incomplete) definition.

      * The Einstein notation for shear is (at least partly) introduced.

      * Some general proof-reading

Thanks go to Peter Wrobel for helpful feedback and discussion.
