Responsorial Psalm citations
The citation for a responsorial psalm (as one would see in a mass book) has a possibility which isn't currently handled: Ps 33:12 and 18, 20-21, 22
In this syntax, the commas separate stanzas and the "and" is used to join non-continuous verses within a single stanza. However, the "and" is not well understood by the package and leads to formatting errors. For example \bibleverse{Ps}(33:12 and 18, 20-21, 22)
yields Psalm 33:12and 18,20–21,22
(note loss of space between 12
and and
).
Further, it is sometimes customary to indicate the response by enclosing it in parentheses: Ps 33:(5a) 12 and 18, 20-21, 22
. This would conflict with the syntax for delimiting the chapter and verse.
I'm not sure at this point what appropriate syntax for these sorts of citations should be, but it would be nice if something could be done to support them.
