Can't boot on a PC
Hi,
I tried to to use your script to create a Debian ISO for our lab, which I copy on a USB stick:
# ./preseed_creator.sh -p preseed_lheea.cfg
# cat preseed_creator/debian-netinst-latest.iso > /dev/sdd
I am able to boot on Virtualbox with the preseed iso file, but it is not working on a normal PC (Dell Precision 7810, with UEFI). It says “Invalid partition table!”. However, the original ISO is booting well!
Indeed, parted sees 2 partitions on the original ISO, but not in the preseed ISO: The Original:
Warning: The driver descriptor says the physical block size is 2048 bytes, but
Linux says it is 512 bytes.

Did I miss something? I tried to see if there is problems with genisoimage options, but I am still stuck… So any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you for your script. It will be very usefull for our needs here.
Kind regards,
Adrie
