I'm trying to get it working, configuring it in that way:
```
/*Delete after delay config*/
"ep_delete_after_delay": {
"delay": 3600, //one hour
"loop": true,
"loopDelay": 300, //5 min
"deleteAtStart": false,
Then, **nothing happens**. I have several pads (created before) and new pads created but nothin is delted.
I'm using EP 1.8.18.
Tell me if you need anything else.
Then I will try to use an external script, but example at README send me to: https://framagit.org/framasoft/Etherpad/pad_delete_after_delay (old repo) instead of the example:
In my case I am using randomised pad names where people expect the content not to be there after reload. So this plugin is just meant as an automated cleanup mechanism. This hint is therefore more confusing than helpful.https://framagit.org/framasoft/Etherpad/ep_delete_after_delay/-/issues/12Feature request: Keep pads with special marker2021-02-09T10:55:09ZMartin SchobertFeature request: Keep pads with special markerWhile deleting pads after a certain time is good to not have tons of old pads in an installation, sometimes I like to keep a pad for a longer time. I thought about writing a marker to the first line in a pad such as KEEPME and as long as this marker is there, the pad gets not removed/overwritten. I tried to implement this into the delete_old_pads(), but don't know how to access a pad's content. Would it be possible to implement such a feature? It could/should be optional.
And while I am already here, would it be possible to auto-hide the notification after a few seconds? When the connection is a bit unstable, it requires further clicks each time after a reconnect.
On est plusieurs à trouver que la popup du delete_after_delay est un peu énervante à l'usage.
En plus d’apparaître à chaque ouverture du pad, j'ai l'impression qu'une fois fermée, elle réapparaît au bout d'un certain temps lorsque le pad reste ouvert c'est bien ça?
J'ai pas vu d'option pour empêcher cette réouverture automatique, il y en a une?
Personnellement, je mettrait bien la popup en mode `sticky: false`, c'est à dire qu'elle apparaît à l'ouverture du pad, reste X secondes à l'écran, puis disparaît toute seule. Et faire en sorte qu'elle ne réapparaisse pas au bout d'un certain temps, juste une fois à l'ouverture.
Qu'est ce que tu en penses? je veux bien faire une PR avec ces changement si besoin
Merci !
