    - add logic to check for tags in git
- add logic to check for first repo commit and latest commit
- add --no-api-status-check-only flag to use this as a complimentary checker to check_via_repo_api.py
  for apps/forges not supported by that checker
- remove specific sr.ht checker (no longer needed)
