Display fetch status in client
As discussed on IRC, I would like to display the fetch status in the client. This will help the user to understand whether something wrong happenend during the night.
Here is my current UI proposal (this is not the final version of my proposal, but it is quite close, for example there will be more margin between the icon and the access label).
However, the way the fetchStatus is used could be confusing for the user. Currently,
- the fetchStatus is only set during the automatic poll to prevent the poll to occur again if a credential error occured (to prevent locked bank accounts)
- the fetchStatus is reset to 'OK' after a successful manual fetch, following an update of credentials for example.
- the fechStatus is not updated on failed manual fetch
With the current implementation, displaying the fetchStatus might be confusing for the user:
- the 'night' fetchStatus will be displayed in the client
- error raised by a manual status will not be saved and won't be shown to the user at the reload of the page.
I propose to adress #808 (closed), and save the fetchStatus in the DB even after a manual fetch, and ony later to display the fetchStatus in the client. The display of the status could first be done in the menu, as shown in the mockup, but could also be displayed in the settings section (or in a dashboard).
@all how do you feel about it ?
