We have chosen the system because this is quick to install and really reliable, which is great... but maybe we could find a better alternative where we could keep these advantages without potentially losing so much mass storage?https://framagit.org/ideascube/kiwix-hotspot/-/issues/338Chinese phones in endless reboot when connected to Kiwix hotspot2019-11-24T15:35:51ZGabe1290Chinese phones in endless reboot when connected to Kiwix hotspotDuring a trip to Senegal in October I found out that certain budget chinese phones (Samsung clones) would go into an endless reboot loop once connected to a Kiwix Hotspot.

This would happen with Raspberry W and Raspberry 4 using a 128 GB SD card, 64 GB and 32 GB.
The only solution was to turn off the Raspberry, in one case I witnessed it was not possible to switch off the phone.
This problem did not occur when being connected to WikiMed hotspot distributed by James Heilman.
I also have chinese phones, HomTom models, and did not have this problem. But a least 4 senegalese teachers were not able to use the Kiwix Hot spot.
My main contact in Senegal, Ibrahima Diop, has one of these problematic chinese phones.
For more details about the phones used, we will have to contact the Senegalese partners.

I suggest either limiting the formats acceptable to .png or .jpg or at the very least change the wording (both on the installer and cardshop to "jpg/png format only".

* is feeding itself from the OPDS stream (using a local cache/copy or not)
* is using the lastest libkiwix (not released ATM). It supports new options and includes the backward-ompatibility bits you'd need.

**NOTE**: This issue for planning purposes, OPDS and libkiwix **does not support** those features at the moment.
