Wrong ACL when adding a picture to a comment of a post that was sent to a forum using !!

In the forum "Deutschspragie Nutzer" https://hubzilla.zottel.net/channel/deutsch an issue with ACLs was dicovered:

If posting to a Forum using the !!-Tag, in the ACL of the forum there stays only the Forum itself. If the post starten later adds a file/photo via attach in a comment, the ACL of the file/photo is adjusted to the original ACL (whis is Forum only) and therefore not visible for the forum members.

I see the principle here of being restrictive with privacy and not giving the attached file a more public ACL that the original post. It creates a problem though, as the post to the Forum via !! is perceived as "public" as it goes to a public forum and therefore it is surprising that the attached file is not visible for anyone.

This does not happen if posting directly to the forum wall.

Should the ACL of attached files / photos be set to "public" if the Receipient ist a public forum? Or should we desactivate the Attach function in that case?

I read somewhere (don't find it now), that with Zot6 posting to all Forums will only be possible via Wall-Post. Then this problem would no longer be existant. If that's coming to Hubzilla, then no further action needed I guess.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
