Plugin "channel sources" - category not added

"Categories" in Channel Sources plugin behave inconsistently.

Steps to reproduce:

  • Add any GitHub releases RSS feed and any Gitlab tags RSS feed as Channel Sources
  • Add some category in "Add the following categories to posts imported from this source"
  • Wait for new posts

See https://zotum.net/channel/releasenotes as example. All GitHub posts have categories (tag added), which is fine. Most GitLab posts don't get the tag, although it is set for each source via plugin category setting.

Normally, category, if set, must be added to every post of any channel source. That's what a user expects.
