This is the source code generating the Green Instances List on **https://greenfediverse.frama.io/green-instances**

The data we use for this list is coming from two different projects.
For the [Fediverse](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fediverse) instances we take data from **[the-federation.info](https://the-federation.info)**
[[github]](https://github.com/thefederationinfo/the-federation.info).
The data we get here about the instances providers will then collide with the database from the **[Green Web Foundation (GWF)](http://www.thegreenwebfoundation.org/)**.
This way we get a first guess how the "greenish" status is.
Note, however, that we reject some of the GWF's ratings, such as the Amazon, Google or Cloudflare rating.
Here we are more critical and provide further information for the reasons of our rejection.
