Event visibility
Note: Comment visibility will have it's own issue.
I updated the wiki event page with the following possibilities for visibility levels:
Public
Publically listed and federated. Can be shared.
User cases: Big public events, with all kind of people.
Mastodon equivalent: Public
AP audience:
[to: 'https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public']
Unlisted
Visible only to people with the link - or invited
User cases: Regular events, that probably don't need to be put upfront
Mastodon equivalent: Unlisted
AP audience:
[cc: 'https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public']
Private
Visible only to people members of the group or followers of the person
User cases: No public proof, for sensitive topics, LGBT+, Political
Mastodon equivalent: Private
AP audience:
[to: 'https://framameet.org/@user/followers']
or[to: 'https://framameet.org/~group/members']
Moderated
Visible only after a moderator accepted
User cases: Even more sensitive topics that require trust between members (activism & such)
Mastodon equivalent: None
AP audience:
[to: 'https://framameet.org/@user2', 'https://framameet.org/@user3']
Invite
visible only to people invited
User cases: Birthday, family events, when targetting a specific group of people
Mastodon equivalent: Direct
AP audience:
[to: 'https://framameet.org/@user2', 'https://framameet.org/@user3']
