Docker image throws error because of Debian version update
The Dockerfile included in the repo starts FROM php:apache
, which has switched from Debian Stretch to Buster. Buster does not have mysql-client
.
Solutions are easy, but basic choices need to be made. Here are the basic options
- just keep everything as it is, but start from
apache-stretch
(works, but not best options long term) - start
FROM php:apache-buster
(perhaps good idea to make explicit the version), and then install of installingmysql-client
, either installmariadb-client
ordefault-mysql-client
. This would also need renaming folder where the dockerfile is located (it currently isstretch
), and relative references in the docker-compose and in the Dockerfile itself.
