Feature: JSON/OSM file as a data source
Overpass is great and all but it doesn't allow any pre-processing for the data. Allowing to import data from JSON or OSM file would give more flexibility for experienced users. And I think it should be pretty easy to implement.
Here's when it can be useful from the top of my head:
- Mission for a particular town only. Towns rarely have a perfectly square shape of a Bbox :) Mission creator can load the data in JOSM with Overpass Turbo that allows geocoding, save it to file and use it for the mission
- Mission for pathways width/surface. I've encountered there are often many short pathways that are impossible to see on Mapillary/OSC so you'd have to skip a lot or risk tagging wrong pathways. Mission creator can filter out all those short pathways in JOSM or using customs scripts and leave only longer ones that they are interested in.
